THE HAWAII-FI
ROAD MAP

Learn what it will take to facilitate an arts-based mentorship program, crunch the numbers, call experts, gather data. Draw up a plan for a pilot program, and create a budget to facilitate it until we can get proper funding.
Select 7 members of the board, these will be your interim board until the program is fully funded and launched. These will be close friends that have relevant experience, can help navigate decision making and come up with solutions for the roadblocks we will encounter.
Create an engaging website and begin promoting the program in the community with physical advertisements, online marketing campaigns and radio commercials.
Fill out all the legal documents to get Hawaii-Fi on the road to being a recognized 501c(3), register with online directories to get our program listed with other organizations to start looking for funding and bringing in volunteers.
Run another marketing campaign to attract patrons and keiki to attend workshops. Begin documenting the workshops and generating more buzz for the program. Run the program for next 6 months and refine the workshops and artist coordination as much as possible.
Collect Data from Pilot Program, Create App and Website Integrations
Take all the data and statistics from the program and publish it for requests from donors and foundations. Create a streamlined app that we can use to manage reservations, memberships and administrative work.
Use the community and data we have collected to raise $500,000 to run the full program on the entire island. Secure properties on the island to use as creative hubs for workshops and artist residencies. Launch program and look to the future for launching on remaining Islands.
